We at Smith Schafer are here to help you manage the uncertainty and business changes related to COVID-19.

You are invited to join us for a free webinar discussing how COVID-19 has changed business standards such as revenue recognition, leases, and accounting for PPP loans.

Speaker: Adam Kellerhals, CPA

In this webinar, we will discuss:

What the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) has done during 2020 as a response to COVID-19, including the delay of revenue recognition (ASC 606) and leases (ASC 842) standards. The delay was a welcome relief, but we will discuss why business should still be preparing for these changes or if they have implemented, how to prepare for year two of implementation of these standards. We will also discuss FASB’s position and plans for accounting for the PPP loan.

Why should you attend?

Be proactive with pending changes so you have no surprises at the end of the year related to accounting changes and shifts in the PPP loan.

Who should attend?

CFOs, controllers, accounting managers, or other key individuals responsible for the accounting function within your organization.
