New Round of Grants for Olmstead County Businesses

Rochester Area Economic Development, Inc. (RAEDI) announced they will oversee the Olmsted County State of Minnesota Small Business Relief Grant Program. Through this program, small business owners can apply for a grant of up to $25,000 to help cover business expenses, including but not limited to payroll, rent, mortgage payments, utility bills, and other costs in the regular course of business.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS

  • Physical location in Olmsted County.
  • Less than 50 full-time employees.
  • Demonstrate financial hardship resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak, specifically a 25% decrease in revenue or greater.

The application portal opens today, January 22, 2021, at noon. The process is not a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be accepted until Sunday, January 31, 2021. For more information, visit RAEDI’s website, click here.
